December 16 coalition meeting

On December 16 the Coalition had a regularly scheduled, open to the public meeting to discuss community engagement, economic impact, and effects to existing buildings of the various scenarios. In reviewing all of that information, the Coalition directed the Design Team to pursue a final concept that focused on Scenarios 1a and 1b, while incorporating some aspects of Scenario 2.

 
 

Public Open House - January 14

On January 14, the Design Team presented their final recommendations of the Riverfront Legacy Master Plan site, including final renderings and designs, a cost breakdown of the plan and funding and implementation strategies.

 
 

The Riverfront Legacy Master Plan Coalition presented to many community organizations and groups throughout the engagement process. The events and speaking opportunities varied in size and scope - some were open to the public at large and others were kept to the individual members of organizations per preference of the requesting group. Some briefly introduced the process and then directed to the Riverfront Legacy website for more information, while others received more in-depth information and a chance to provide input. A majority of these presentations were a result of invitations from community members. The Coalition worked to accommodate schedules and requests in order to present to as many people as possible.
